1.2. Overview of the project and goals
Boost innovative education in Secondary Schools: A new educational material will be designed and validated for the promotion of STEAM education in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the European Council Recommendation on Key Competences for Life Long Learning.
The challenge: OrganKits promotes STEM/STEAM education by the design, implementation and dissemination of OrganKits as a new educational resource plus an innovate learning method based on active methodologies.
Our objectives:
- To design: OrganKits according to key educational topics for Secondary Schools (14-16 years).
- To promote: Development of Key Competences through the STEAM pedagogical model.
- To integrate: Selected targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in the OrganKits.
- To validate: OrganKits at international level through implementation (testing and evaluation) in real teaching scenarios.
- To ensure: Dissemination of OrganKits at local, regional and national levels.
