Schools Across Europe Invited to Join the OrganKits Project at Meeting with Associated Schools
The OrganKits Erasmus+ Project is reaching out to secondary schools across Europe to participate in a special Meeting with Associated Schools. This gathering is an exciting opportunity for educators to join a collaborative network focused on transforming STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education through innovative learning tools and teaching methods.
The Meeting with Associated Schools will provide a platform for teachers to collaborate, share best practices, and explore how to integrate OrganKits into their school curriculums.
By participatingg, schools will have the chance to discuss the use of OrganKits in subjects such as biology, health education, technology, and even arts. Themes like “Cardiohealth & Emotions”, “Neurohealth & Mindfulness”, and “Nutrihealth & Wellness” will be explored through project-based learning, offering a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience for students.
Why Participate in the Meeting with Associated Schools?
- Innovative Teaching Tools: The OrganKits offer an exciting way for students to explore real anatomy, breaking away from traditional methods like textbooks or plastic models. The kits make learning more interactive and engaging, helping students grasp complex scientific concepts through tactile experience.
- Networking and Collaboration: Schools that join the meeting will network with other educators across Europe, exchanging ideas and learning new teaching strategies. This collaboration will lead to the creation of innovative interdisciplinary projects that blend science, technology, art, and languages, encouraging students to explore subjects from multiple perspectives.
- Focus on Sustainability and Well-being: The OrganKits project is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 4 (Quality Education). Schools involved will not only improve STEM education but also promote healthy lifestyles, gender equality, and environmental awareness.
- Get Involved in European Educational Innovation: The OrganKits project is part of a larger movement to reshape secondary education in Europe. Schools participating in the meeting will be at the forefront of this innovation, helping to shape the future of education in their communities and beyond.
How to Get Involved
Schools interested in joining the Meeting with Associated Schools can sign up now to attend the upcoming event. The meeting will provide an overview of the OrganKits, offer opportunities for teachers to discuss curriculum integration, and introduce new tools for implementing project-based learning (PBL) in their classrooms.
After the meeting, participating schools will be equipped with the resources to begin integrating OrganKits into their lessons and collaborate with other schools across Europe to test and refine the kits in real teaching scenarios.
